Reflection
1. Evaluate: What are the good / strong parts of your timeline? What is done well?
-Some of the good and strong things about my timeline include my color choices and how I blended each event together
2. Evaluate: What do you think you could have done better on this project?
-I could've definitley used more detail and creativity on my timeline if I had more time.
3. Describe the attributes of your theme / unity: What is the theme about? What details did you show to reflect that theme (describe at least 3 of the events)?
-The theme is "Timeline about my life." I made sure to draw the events in cronological order to portray my life better. One of my events was when my grandfather died: I drew an eye with tears and a cross underneath. Another one of my events was when I became interested in mortuary science: I drew a casket, along with a graveyard. My last event was when I went to the carnival in Charles City, and got to meet my current boyfriend and had a fantastic time.
4. Describe the colors used in your design: What are the dominant colors (or color families)? What are other colors that are less dominant?
-I used an array of colors, but My dominant ones definitley were bright, cheerful colors. My less dominant colors are blues, and maybe some of the black I used.
5. Describe the use of rhythm: What do you have that repeats in your design? Why did you use that for rhythm?
-For my rythem, I decided to use diagnol strokes when I colored my project. I also made sure to blend the designs together so they flow smoothly.
6. Metacognate: What did you learn from this project that you could apply to other projects in the future? What lessons could be applied to life in general? Why?
-Well, for future projects I learned that I should use my time wisely so I dont have to take my project home to work on. Some lessons i learned were how to interpret your life through art.
